Biography
Chris
Huson trained in the US (1989-1992) and The People's Republic
of China (1992-1993). His perspective in using acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine in the treatment of HIV was published
by the Seattle Treatment Education Project newsletter in 1996.
From 1997 to 2000 he served as President of the Acupuncture
Association of Washington (AAW) with particular attention
to Integrative Healthcare strategies both locally and nationally.
In 1996-7 he trained in the post-graduate specialty of Pediatric
Traditional Chinese Medicine and further specialized in the
treatment of pediatric asthma. Chris is well known for his
careful, gentle touch and his ability to put his patients
at ease using a pragmatic mix of humor, skill, and common
sense.
In
his free time, Chris acts with the Fremont Players and Circus
Contraption. He also stage manages and directs, and is an
active member of the Fremont Arts Council.
